This is a 12V DC/DC regulator, specifically a Murata OKI-78SR-12/1.0-W36-C!
They're highly efficient ~95%, and provide 12V @ 1A (12W) from a 15V to 36V input.
It's ideal if you need to produce 12V from a higher voltage power source for your project, and unlike noisy UBECs, this regulator provides < 75 mV peak-to-peak ripple.
We also stock similar 5V and 3.3V regulators.
