Aeotec Zigbee Multipurpose Sensor

The compact Aeotec Zigbee Multipurpose Sensor can be easily installed on doors and windows to monitor their open/close status and vibration/knocks, using magnetic reed sensors and a built-in acceleration/gyro sensor. It also includes a temperature sensor to monitor the local environment!

In combination with your Zigbee-enabled Home Automation system, you can set alerts and automation for when doors or windows are open unexpectedly, including temperature changes to control heating and climate appliances.

The sensor is powered by a simple CR2450 lithium battery (included) which can last up to a year.

Requires a Zigbee-enabled home automation system or hub, such as a Raspberry Pi running Home Assistant, combined with a Zi-Stick USB Zigbee 3.0 gateway.
