The Story
Place your Raspberry Pi camera up to 15 metres away with the Arducam LAN Cable Extension Kit. It converts the MIPI CSI-2 interface to Ethernet, works out of the box with Pi 5/4/3/CM, and supports a wide range of cameras.
The Arducam LAN Cable Extension Kit lets you place your Raspberry Pi camera up to 10โ15 metres away from your board using a standard LAN cable (1m cable included). It converts the high-speed MIPI CSI-2 interface into an Ethernet-compatible connection, allowing far greater range than a traditional FFC cable - and without needing any additional software or configuration.
Itโs plug-and-play with Raspberry Pi 5, 4 and 3 and Compute Modules (CM modules via carrier boards with appropriate IO available). Simply connect your camera and board at each end of the LAN cable, and youโre ready to go. A 1m Rj45 cable is included to get you started, but you'll find longer RJ45 cable options in the store.
