The Story
If you're prototyping your next audio project but your breadboard is already tight on space, these compact versions of our breadboard-friendly speakers might help save you a little real estate for those final few components.
These speakers are rated 8 Ohm 0.2W just like the originals, but come down to just 22mm diameter and only 9mm tall (not including the legs).
The underside has clear + and - markings and the surprisingly strong legs will pop straight into your breadboard. If you want to use this on a PCB design, you may want to measure the legs first as they're thicker than most common components.
The two pins are ~10mm apart. Works great with the Adafruit Wave shieldĀ orĀ class D amplifier boardĀ (just be careful not to overdrive it).
Specifications
- Diameter: ~22mm
- Body Height: ~9mm
- Between Pins: ~10mm
Package Contents
- 1x Compact breadboard-friendly speaker
Breadboard not included
