PoE HAT (E) for Raspberry Pi 4/3B+

This compact PoE HAT (E) from Waveshare is 802.3af-compliant and compatible with the Raspberry Pi 4 and Raspberry Pi 3B+ (not compatible with Raspberry Pi 5).

This Power over Ethernet HAT allows you to power the Raspberry Pi 4/3B+ via a power-injected Ethernet cable whilst also providing a wired network connection (when used in conjunction with compatible PoE power-sourcing equipment).

The HAT is small enough to fit inside the official Raspberry Pi 4 case providing a compact, flexible power and network option for projects in awkward spots away from sockets and WiFi range.

The HAT features a fully isolated switched-mode power supply (SMPS). It also includes an 8-pin breakout including headers for a 5V fan. Most of the Raspberry Pi GPIO header pins are not consumed by the HAT, just the first 6 pins and PoE header are taken by the HAT.
