The Story

The Roller485 Unit is a brushless DC motor (BLDC) actuator kit made for efficient motion control. It supports both 6-16V DC input via the PWR485 interface and 5V input via the Grove connector, automatically adjusting power for optimal performance.

It has a FOC closed-loop drive system and a 3504 200KV motor, providing precise control of current, speed, and position. It includes a magnetic encoder for feedback, an OLED display for real-time status, RGB indicators, and LEGO-compatible mounting options. Ideal for robotics, industrial automation, and more, it supports RS485 and I2C communication with open-source hardware and software for flexible integration.

Note: The main difference between the Unit-Roller485 Lite and Unit-Roller485 is that the Lite version does not include the slip ring extended Grove connector or the top LEGO expansion interface.
