The Story

The SupTronics X1507 is a high-performance, fanless I/O carrier board designed for the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 5 (CM5), offering dual M.2 NVMe slots and a streamlined layout for effortless integration.

Its ultra-compact, fully passive design positions all user connectors on the top side while housing components and the CM5 underneath, simplifying enclosure design and enabling silent, dust-free operation. The X1507 accelerates development with compatibility for Raspberry Pi HATs and 2230 and 2242-format NVMe SSDs, delivering flexibility, reliability, and high-speed performance in a fanless package.

The board features a 1Gb Ethernet port with PoE+ support (separate HAT required, coming soon!), two M.2 NVMe slots (2230/2242) supporting up to 8TB over PCIe 2.0, two full-size HDMI ports for dual 4K output, and two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports (5Gbps). Two 22-pin MIPI DSI/CSI-2 connectors (0.5mm pitch) support Raspberry Pi 5 cameras and displays.

A microSD slot is available for CM5 Lite. It includes a power button, CR1220 RTC socket (battery not included), 4-pin fan connector, USB-C for power and OS loading, and jumpers to disable wireless or EEPROM. All I/O ports are grouped on one edge for clean cable management.
